Welcome to Second Shapes Bookstore, located in the Kenton Neighborhood of North Portland. Here you’ll find a curated section of used books, zines, art, and new books from local authors and small presses. We also frequently host workshops and events in our community room!

An annual $20 Shapeshifter Membership allows you to trade books for in-store credit! We offer $1 per paperback, $2 per hardcover, and up to 50% of in-demand and rare books.

Have books you just want to donate? We love that! You can bring in 1-2 bags or a small box any time we’re open. If you have more than that, please email us to coordinate a drop off or pick up.
